Since the first round of Prescott processors are being released Feb. 2nd, are we going to see a drop in price on the existing P4 Processors?

From what I have seen as of yet I think no. I also hear that Prescotts 3.2 is going to be the same prices as the 3.2c and the same proformance

Yes, it's already been announced by Intel, price drops will occur simultanious to that release.

Price drops have been announced and verified for the 2nd day of February.

The 2.8C will take over the current pricing tag that the 2.6C has, making it mainstream.

In addition to that, Prescott will be introduced very, very competitively and agressively in price (they come in a whole new line - the 2.8,3.0,3.2 and 3.4... so there should be prescotts not only for the over-$400 public, that's for sure!). Don't know the exact numbers, but we'll have more on that on the 2nd.
