Epson c82 ink light on paper and on light flashing

Hi

I have two printers epson c82

the on light green is flashing as is the paper out light the ink light remains on for both

the ink cartidge holder does not move as to it really does not drag paper in either.

Just a bit of advice before i scrap them

check the carriage under the print head, this comes loose! two clips to re-insert it.
you need to remove the cover for easy access. remove the sides, two clips on the rear. pop them off, you will see the plastic thing underneath has come loose.
