My GW 700x desktop is a couple years old.... running Win XP Pro
with 512 mb RAM. I'm toying with the idea of adding a pair of 256 mb
RAM modules ($48.99 ea).
Crucial lists two possible choices:
DDR PC 2700 (256MB — CT325038 DDR PC3200 CL=3 Non-parity)
DDR PC 3200 (256 MB -- CT318554 DDR PC3200 CL=3 Non-parity)
184-pin DIMM
Belarc advisor doesn't tell me what kind of RAM I have....just that it's
two 256mb modules.
Here's the the other important info:
Board: Intel Corporation D850MV AAA57887-301
Serial Number: IUMV20810426
Bus Clock: 100 megahertz
BIOS: Intel Corp. MV85010A.15A.0035.P04.0201071437 01/07/2002
Which of these two choices would be most compatible with the already
installed RAM?
Thanks!
Scott
