I bought the MN-740 based on the fact that per Microsoft:
"Protect your data with the strong security features of
802.11g wireless." To which I had hoped would include
WPA.

When I found out it didn't, I figured, ok, this is still
fairly new, maybe it would be out soon, considing that
Microsoft stated that the adapter is "Upgradeable for
future security features."

It has almost been a year since this product has been
out. I would like to know if and when Microsoft is
planning on making this promise a reality. If it is a
matter of beta testing, please, let me know where to sign
up as I am sure there are more people out there who would
love to have this security feature updated.

Thank You.

I doubt it will be upgraded to WPA. MS did not promise WPA, and I
doubt there will be any new functionality added -
