hello all, was wondering if there was a way to go wireless with me tv, dvd and directv satelite reciever. i want to put the tv about 6 feet up on the wall so i was wondering if there was some type of hardware i can plug the dvd player, satelite receiver and maybe a surround sound into that would transmit to the tv. those items would be about 5 to 10 feet away from the tv. don't want any wires running up the wall. thank you.

55 inch vizio smart 3d tv
panasonic smart 3d dvd player
direct tv hd receiver
undetermined surround sound. have yet to get one

thanks.

p.s. i tried the search button and started browsing through the (over) 8000 posts and i tried google. if theres something i should be reading if you could paste a link i don't mind doing my own work.... thanks.

There are many wireless HDMI solutions available so just google that. The transmitter would connect to the HDMI output of the surround sound receiver and the receiver to the TV. This is one example

Make sure the one you get is 3D compatible. The HDMI setup and your surround receiver would also have to support the ARC (audio return channel) for audio when using internet apps on the TV.
