Windows 7

[Holdwine]

I have a Toshiba satellite laptop Satsllite L355, intel 2.16 MH cpu, 40 gb HDD, 3GB Ram, I installed windows 7 Home Premium and Morrowind kicks me out when I go to type my character's name. Oblivion kicks me out when I first try to move. I believe it has something to do with the screen resolution. Any help would be appreciated

Any error messages?
What resolution do you have it set to?

I'm unsure of how compatible Morrowind is with Win7 (not tried it out myself), but know for certain that Oblivion runs fine.

Oblivion fine here too, Morrowwind claims it will run on 7, there is a forum for Vista user problems here http://forums.bethsoft.com/?showtopic=781497

Thank you for the help I went to the forum and noticed the moderator said to first change the resolution enter the game, exit the game and reset the Resolution.

So being braindead I set the computer screen resolution to 1440x900 I reinstalled Morrowind and set it's resolution from 1024x768 to 1152x 864. Morrowind works just fine. I believe it was the reinstall but the screen resolution thing worked for me before on xp.

So once again thanks for the advice.
