Unless you're gonna use that aiw for the added ports you pay for, you might as well just buy a 9800pro video card. Only 250 from ati if you send them a generic card that you have laying around.
But yea that rig will be good for gaming. Top notch gaming for at least a good year and a half without any problems.
You might also want to consider better memory. Even though you aren't oc'ing you should get 3500 just so after awhile you can just nudge the cpu up to 3200+ speeds. Pc3500 is great for that. ANd you might also want to consider two stick for ddr.. i think on AMD boards its only a minor boost.. but hey whatever. it's a boost.

Figured i'd do it too..reality my ass.
I do plan on oc'ing, I guess thats why Im leaning towards the XMS stick and the "NF7" MoBo . Can you give me any ideas on any improvements I might make?

The biggest improvement you can make for a gaming rig is the 9800 Pro if you have the cash. Having two sticks of memory will give you a slight boost with the dual channel ram and all.
The 9700 Pro might be the way to go... with all of the problems people seem to be having with their 9600 cards...
I checked newegg, but the only 9700 there was a Powercolor... beware...

Mines fine. The way my case is set up i could prolly give it a small oc and be ok. But these do run way to hot for stock temps. They need better cooling.

I have the 9600pro and the 2500+ @2250 mhz. I sometimes wish that I could have the 9800pro, but not enough to spend the extra money. You may be able to get a 9800np for only slightly more. The 9600pro is great. If I was buying myself a system tomorrow, I would get what you are.
