What's the deal with only 1MB cache? Even Opteron doesn't have more than that... Only the P4EE has 2MB.

Besides, Scotty was never supposed to have more than twice the caches that northwood has.

Whoa, i didn't mean it to come off like that. Stupid internet. I thought they were adding something else on the chip... maybe a memory controller.. i haven't been reading into the new chips so i don't know anything about them.
:/ Sorry for me making it look like a 1MB L2 cache isn't impressive.
