Please Recommend Sound System

For a small bedroom, particularly for gaming/entertainment rig. Thanks in advance. I'm a newb at this so, I'd say less than $300?

$300 is not High-End but I would recommend an HTB - Home Theater in a Box. Google term or go to retailer's website and search. Onkyo HT-S3400 wood be an example of one of these. I picked this one at random so not necessarily recommending this one though I do like the Onkyo brand name.

Your recommendation is $249.99 at newegg now. I guess I'll go for this high end one.
