HDMI Disconnecting after windows boot

So for my new pc build I have used a vga cable so far untill i got a hdmi, so now i have the hdmi and i turn the computer on it shows the screen untill windows has stopped loading (when the login screen appears) saying no signal.

Motherboard: Gigabyte Ga-z77-d3h rev 1.0
CPU: i5 3470
GPU: intel HD 2500

resolution: its a 1280x720 monitor.

latest drivers have been installed for intel hd and i used the disk for the motherboard drivers to save time and effort.

Any clue how i go about getting hdmi to work?

  1. Hi :)

Have you got a graphics CARD ? I had a problem with one of my machines doing that with HDMI... an Update to the ATI drivers fixed it...

    All the best Brett :)
  2. The graphics card is the i5's build in at the moment.

    Hi :)

Hmm... then either update its drivers ...or fit a card, or a new hdmi cable maybe...

    All the best Brett :)
  4. the intel hd drivers are up to date and theres no difference, and the hdmi cable works on everything else .
