Tokelau is not located in New Zealand but a territory of New Zealand.
New Zealand is at the bottom of the South Pacific just south east of Australia and Tokelau is located closer to the equator on top of American Samoa. Even the Nederlands is in Europe at the other side of the world. Please check your atlas or googling before publishing your articles.

I really hope Psystar or Open tech make a lot of cash so apple realizes how overpriced their crap is.

At no point did the article imply that the Netherlands were anywhere outside of Europe, let alone in New Zealand. To an outsider, it would be easy for someone not familiar with the Oceana continent to mistake Toklau, as a territory of New Zealand, as being close enough to be considered "in" or at least directly off the coast of New Zealand.

I really doubt this company even exists. Anyone can create .tk domains even without paying for them.

If I want to, tomorrow I'll have a Mac-clone company with a nice .tk website selling PC's.

This is 100% a scam ( or will be at the moment they place an "order" button on the site.

anonymus...if you READ the article it states "...located in Tokelau, a territory belonging to New Zealand with the website itself being hosted in the Netherlands." It doesn't say Tokelau is IN New Zealand. It implies later that perhaps it is in "Buying a PC in the U.S. from a company located in the Netherlands or in New Zealand, sounds like something users should be very cautious about." But that could be easily seen as a generalization based on the previous detail they provided, ya know, that the reader would understand. Implication I think is the word. Kind of like where you write "Please check your atlas or googling before publishing your articles." IF we took you literally one could ask "How does one check their googling?" Perhaps by checking the spelling of their search? That wouldn't be very productive. But it is IMPLIED that you mean to check their research BY googling. So A) please actually read the article BEFORE posting, and B) please keep it in context, because if this is any sample of your writing, then being overly critical of you probably wouldn't be too difficult.

Actually, Tokelau was first implied as "located in New Zealand". Only after receiving the first comment did the article was revised.

Apple needs to get their fannies KICKED by every computer user on the planet for bacisally being Jagoffs.

*I* should, as my CHOICE, be ABLE to install OSX software into ANY PC I wish. Psystar found a set of components that allows MOST, but not ALL, of the features of Mac OSX to RUN: So WHAT if a couple of the backup functions DO NOT work?? I do not even use those on my MAC desktops.

Apple needs to LAY OFF and allow OPEN USE of their OSX OS:

If Apple had NOT chosen to use COMMON Intel PC Chips, which are basically crap compared to the last Motorola G5s that were Non-Intel- Then this WHOLE ISSUE would not have arisen. HOWEVER, Apple CHOSE to use a COMMON PC CPU and a COMMON PC Support CHIPSET, also, they ACTIVELY offered support to OPENDARWIN. Now they have RENEGED on that support and OPENDARWIN cannot be found... However, it is TOO LATE. PC makers, WILL continue to use the information that apple THEMSELVES RELEASED- And I *WILL* buy a Psystar PC as soon as I get enough money into my bank account- And like Blue BLAZES if I am going to GIVE any such machine TO APPLE:

The only reason for this is, I WANT a Mac Clone, and I have tried about 5 different MOTHERBOARDS, and I am simply TIRED of the hour and a half it takes to find out that a Chipset will not work: Therefore, I will BUY the Chipset that DOES work and I will HAPPILY PAY Psystar to MAKE me such a machine.

I am cluless using the Apple TERMINAL- I can get around the Unix Shells in Vista, but the TERM and X-11 shells in Apple are too much for me, they have kicked my arse.

So, I have NO Choice- And NO qualms about PAYING Psystar to basically PRE-INSTALL my OSX onto my OSX Clone.

Screw Apple into the Ground, MAKE them give up their OS to PC makers. It is OUR choice: NOT APPLES. Retire Steve Jobs!

Oh Yes...

This new company, it seems that they are just BEING CAREFUL.

I Prefer the Psystar offer: 550 for a fuilly working OSx86 sounds GRAND- Also, MacWorld ALREADY gave the Psystar Machines a GOOD REVIEW. These new "Open Tech" PCs... TOO EXPENSIVE.

Psystar has found RATHER INEXPENSIVE hardware and so the cost of a fully working, OSX Preinstallation is $550- And it is NOT a Pentium D! I TRIED to build an OSx86 using a Pentium D - They are NOT good CPUS. Psystar uses a different CPU, still CHEAP, but a better Intel CPU than the P-D.

I do not LIKE "Open Tech" Prices, they are BLOATED: However, I DO support their COMPANY.

Also, the woman in the C-Net clip - can ___ me, and I'll pay her the regular wages! "Open Tech hasn't learned the Lesson of Psystar" - My Blue ^%$# - WHAT lesson%^%$! NO lesson has been learned my anyone other than Apple are acting like real B******s in this.. Also, I hope that MANY, MANY smallcompanies EMERGE that will offer WORKING OSx86 machines at MANY TIMES LESS the cost of the rediculously priced MAC.

APPLE CHOSE to use these CPUs- LET THEM STEW, cos they can NOT keep people from FIGURING OUT how to install their NEW! PC-Supported! OVERBLOATED OS!! It was APPLE's CHOICE to go with Core Duo PCUs... So, they actually have NO right to claim INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY.

Apple's PC-Driven Imac, being basicvally an Overbloated PC, has Vista and XP running on half of them already!

Apple made a BIG boner by choosing INTEL - Ergo, they must needs to SHUT UP now that anyone who wants to can, and will, install Apple OS into ANY PC that they can!
