My sound scemes have all the sudden died. I keep going back to the
control panel and re-saving the default and schemes, but it doesn't ever
seem to work.

I am at a loss, any help apprecciated.

Please post any help in the newsgroup, thank you.

More info needed. Are you speaking of a saved scheme? Either way, what was
done before the "all of a sudden change"?

Did you actually get to see the one where my web developer put my head on
Jimi's body? Oh my those were the days. LOL It should be funny to leave it
up there for a while. I have this horrid habbit, I lose every digital camera
I get. Otherwise I'd take something new and interesting, this time without
any hair at all.

Really, once again, welcome back and it's VERY good to see you and yours
make it through this but, then again, I didn't really think you'd be in any
trouble. Just didn't seem logical to me that you would be in any trouble at
all.

Anyhow, I'm off to see the Blue Angels today. Screamingly fast technology
that's making noise and dangerous as all get out, people jumping out of
perfectly good airplanes, low level/high speed flights, fatty foods, and
guns! w00t!!! What more can a geek ask for? See? Now if I had my cam I'd
take photos of this sort of stuff.

Yes, I am speaking of any sound scheme, whether it's the windows default
scheme or any I made myself.

I had just received a new laptop from dell, an inspiron 6000. After I
logging on for the first time and running the dell jukebox program and
installing word 200 at the same sitting, when I resatarted the computer,
all the sound effects dissappeared. No matter how often I re-set the
windows defaul or any other scheme, it never takes and I have never
gotten the sound effects back.

It's not hindering any of my work on the computer, it's just something
that is driving me a little nuts.

Thanks! And will add it. Just haven't had the time yet. As for Blue
Angels....lucky you. With my dad being a pilot have seen them many times.
Last time though, was about 5 years ago here in Belle Chase, La.)
