Problems installing windows 7 error missing device driver

Hello,
I am trying to install windows 7 home premium but get the error message that I am missing dvd device drivers. Is this like the old "fdisk"?

To answer your question, no it is not the same thing.

I take it that you have not been able to upgrade to Win 7 and are still using Vista.

Is your drive a DVD drive or just a CD drive?
What does your Device Manager show under the DVD/CD-ROM drives category?
