I ended up sick and missed this sale over in Belleville, Il - was curious
if there were any good deals I missed?

Strangest auction as far as pins that I've ever been to. Went there to
visit and not to buy, and as always when you're least prepared, that's
when the stuff you like is there. Only a couple of later model pins,
about 3 80's ones, and the rest were EM's and early solid states, total
of around 15 pins. Couple of them were pretty trashed, the rest were
decent rebuilders or in playing condition.
Don't quote me on these prices because I didn't write them down. Big
Hurt and Hook were good looking and playing machines, both sold for
around the $1500 range. There was a playing High Speed with a little
bit of playfield wear that sold for $475 which I thought was a genuine
bargain, a playing Comet that sold for around the $500 range, and a
couple of older Williams SS games with problems that went cheap. A
playing Bally Kings of Steel with mucho wear all over sold for about
$400 which surprised me, and a trashed Night Rider SS with no boards
sold for $75 which admittedly had a nice glass and playfield to offer.
The EM's I saw were in much better than average shape you'd usually see
at an auction of this type, only a couple were hurting. Jumping Jack,
Surfer, Jet Spin, Bronco, On Beam, Sea Ray, Magic Town, and a bingo
machine and a couple of the old horseracing games from the 40's or
early 50's which were about giveaways. Most complete EM's were in the
$250-350 range unless they had obvious problems. I think the Bronco
brought around $400 and it was a nice one.

I thought the Hook went for $625, which really surprised me. I do
remember a Cyclone that I thought went for $675. Most of the the em's
were in the $200-$300 range if I remember. I bought one of the
Horseracing for $35, and surprise surprise... It works!

That was a Sorcerer, not a Comet, it went for 625.
Fireball home version (working and clean) went for 325.
Hook went for over 1075 at least
Cyclone went for 725.
