How to change printhead cannon s9000 printer

i need to change the printhead on the cannon s9000. have the new printhead (unopened) and just want to be certain I don't screw up anything. I have not found any instructions on changing the printhead. I assume I remove the ink tanks on the old printhead, remove it then replace it with the new printhead, then replace ink cartridges but I really would like to know if this is correct before i begin.
