I installed everything according the the directions, and changed the
pins from Slave to Master on the back. It powers up fine, and windows
detects it as an "Unknown USB Mass Storage Device". But in My Computer
the drive isnt detected. Do I need to change something in the BIOS? It
said no drivers are required and it should detect it automatically
Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.general (More info?)
I got similar enclosure but put HD in it with no problems.
Can u see it in C:\WINDOWS\system32\diskmgmt.msc ?

Any advise given is my attempt to show appreciation for all
the excellent help I've received here but I'm no MVP so it
may only apply NUGS (Normally, Usually, Generally, Sometimes

I had to set mine to CS to get it to work.
