Video Slow down - problem?

I am having problems lately with my video performance. I had a crash a
while back and installed a new USB hard drive, but beyond that, I am
not sure what is happening. Certain graphics programs run very clunky
and slow now (even though I have updated the newest driver for my
Nvidia). I am not sure if it is an open GL problem or not? Any other
ideas?

Since you have the latest drivers for your card, the hardware may be
failing. What Nvidia card do you have? The computer could be
overheating and/or the card could be overheating or dying. Test by
swapping out for a known-working video card.
