Stern Split Second 2732 images?

I'm having a bit of an issue with a stern mpu 200.

I got it with flight 2k roms in it (working fine) , re-jumpered it for
2732's and created split second 2732's by

COPY /B U1ROM.716 + U2ROM.716 U2NEW.732
COPY /B U5ROM.716 + U6ROM.716 U6NEW.732

but the board wouldn't boot. So I figured maybe something went wrong
in the re-jumpering, so to make sure I took the original flight 2k
proms, read them in and made 2732's out of them, but they work fine.

Does anybody have known working 2732 images for a split second? or
maybe have some other suggestions?

Thanks

Brian

Have you tried programming the Split Second 2732's on the 2732's you
programmed for Flight 2k, or a different set of 2732s?

I'm wondering if you might have a bad chip?

Sadly, after you get it to boot, it STILL
won't play right...

None of them do.

Yes, and it's a shame because it's a gorgeous looking game with a great
playfield!

Are the PinMame roms also bad?
http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=2297
They appear to work right in PinMame, but I can't check if this is right.
I don't have a machine.
Maybe Oliver Okaegi can check the roms.
He's a wizz with these sort of things.

My Split Second played fine. The endless free ball bug is annoying, but
if you set the DIP switches right to keep it from happening, the rest
of the game works fine.

I think I'll try that, I did read the Split Second 2732's back in after
burning them and they checked out, but it's worth a shot.
