Hi there
I hope someone can help me. I have always used Outlook Express and have never before experienced any problems with it. Just the other day I downloaded an update for it (unfortunately I can't remember the name of it) and since then I've been having problem, or rather, haven't been able to open attachments from mails sent to me.
It says something like: "OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your mail."nameofdocument""
Is there anything I can do to make it work again? A setting somewhere? Download of some kind?
I really hope someone out there can help me, I'm lost:)

Thanks, Peter

I asked the very same question at another forum, you can view the thread <A HREF="http://www.btvillarin.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=334" target="_new">here</A> .
I found it in Outlook, look under the Tools\Options\Security\Virus Protection, there is a check box to disable\enable attachments from being opened or saved that could be a virus. I did the above and it worked, so give it a go.

Good luck

Hi Scotty35, It worked great, can't believe I missed it though, been over those settings at least a thousand times:)

Thanks and take care:)
