AMD Price Drop?

anyone heard anything else about a price drop on the AMD chips? Do you think the XP 2500+ price will drop?

amd prices will drop as soon as the new chips come out i dunno when or what they r releasing next due to only just releasing the a64. I think that when the a64 becomes mainstream maybe then the xp's will drop. However in regards to the amd 2500 it isnt goin to drop by much more for a while it has already gone down the pricing ladder with the 2800 takin its place. My opinion is to get the amd now rather than wait for a measly 5 quid/dollars drop in price its a great chip and u wont be dissapointed i wasnt neway.

At some sites the price on XP chips started dropping yesterday. However, the 64 chips have remained the same.

Actually the price dorp is suppose to be across thier xp and 64 chip lines and was suppose to come by the 14th. I have also seen the xp chips already dropping in price, about 10-30 dollars appears to be the drop. The 2500+ can be had for around 80 now. By next week the ahtlon 64 chips should catch up with thier drop .
