Maziar said:SAGER NP8120 is currently the fastest notebook available but Alienware will soon let users choose 2 HD 5870Ms in M17x which makes it faster than the SAGER one,but if you can't wait then go for NP8120,its an excellent choice.
Thank you. Wow fast response. This forum rocks another question if I can.
Found a 17 inch SAGER Sager 9280 with the following processor:
Intel Core i7-980X Extreme Edition | 3.60GHz | 12MB Intel Smart Cache - 6 Cores/12 Threads
as opposed to the NP8120 with : 7-920XM Extreme (2.0~3.2GHz, 55W) w/8M L3 Cache - 10Gb/s DMI I/O BUS
Which is ultimately faster? The Sager 9280 processor has more cores and more cache but does not have SLI capability?
