Its one thing to shift performance problems to the developpers (like forcing them to use 23 different SIMD instructionsets, recompiling and optimizing for every new cpu family, create multithreaded apps to solve single threaded problems); now intel wants to shift the power consumption problem to the software guys as well ? How ??
