Im upgrading my computer, getting new motherboard, processor, and video card, but i still want to use the hard drive i have
Is there a way i do a clean reinstall without losing all the information

Solution
Clean installs wipe the entire drive, you'll need to backup any data wanted to an external source. Some of the easier ways are using a flash drive or external HDD, or if you have a blank disc you can use that as well.

You can also backup Steam games if you use Steam using there own backup setup process under the "Steam" button at the top of the client and then just choose the path you want the games to go.
