Zero. Don't send attachments at all to News groups unless the group has the
word "binary" in the title.

In article <uAJBPF5tFHA.3500@TK2MSFTNGP09.phx.gbl>,
b.brineshkishore@gmail.com says...

Unless the group name has the word BINARY in it, it means that it's a
text only group - which means you don't post FILES to it. Most Usenet
groups are text only, a few are HTML and there are a number of ALT....
groups that support Binary attachment posting.

Since you're using Outlook, you need to know that Usenet is not like
email, you don't use it the same way. You message is not private, it's
sent around the world and appears on other Usenet servers for everyone
to see. It's part of the standards to NOT post files or attachments to
non-binary groups.

1. Attachments are frowned upon in MS newsgroups, as is posting in HTML.

2. IIRC the max message size for all posts to the MS public newsgroups is
150KB or less.

Unrelated: Your message headers tell me you're running outdated and much
less-secure versions of OE, IE and Windows. Check in at Windows Update
ASAP.
