Can't install windows 7 pro

Hello, I am currently attempting to install windows 7 pro on my computer. I have successfully done so before but I wanted to clean up my hard drive so i decided to re install it. Now I only see Disk 1 Partition 1 and I can't install windows 7 on it. I get a message "Windows cannot be installed to Disk 1 Partition 1. (Show details)". Please help.

If you are trying to wipe the drive and start fresh, select the advanced option for the drive, delete all partitions, select the blank drive, and install in that.
