I just bought a 3200 barton for 239.00 with a asus A7N8X-E DELUXE for 139.00. I stuck 1 gig of TwinX Corsair in this MB, mind you this stuff isnt cheap, 249.00. So far it runs like a champ. After looking at the benchmarks here at TH, the 3000 64 and the msi neo board out performs it by a slight margin. My question is, should I exchange before its to late. I mostly like running graphics and 3d aplications like studio max. Thanks

a64 3000 will blow you axp to hell and once overclocked you will fly to star...

Athlon 2700xp+ (oc: 3200xp+ with 200fsb) , Radeon 9800pro (oc: 410/370) , 512mb pc3200 (3-3-3-2), Asus A7N8X-X

Most definitely. And it doesnt seem like a small margin difference to me. Maybe on THG, but its hard to trust their reviews these days.

I agree with the change, but it doesn't sound like he'll be doing any overclocking.

POST is way overrated, the black screen and beeps should be enough for most people.
