Hp pavilion dv9000/NVIDIA boot agent

Hi, my HP has no operating system. I'm trying to install winXP. It starts but then setup can't continue cause it says there is no hard disk? What do I do?

You can make yourself a bootable CD with some hard disk utility programs to try and figure out what is up with that hard disk.
