Win 7 Pro 64 Bit and Power Director 8 - NO GO!

Hello,
My recnetly purchased PD8 is in deep trouble under Windows 7 Pro 64 bit op sys. It takes over 2 minutes to be established on screen when "clicked on", and often freezes and locks out, especially using the "Capture" access.

My PC is new with Intel I5 chip PCU, very fast with 8GB of RAM and a new Nividia chip Video Card and which all works well with almost all the previous 32 bit programs previously used on my old PC using XP.. PD8 seemed to work well on the old PC --- now it is unusable.
