Recommend a laptop $1500 ish

I am looking for a gaming laptop around $1500

Recently looking at the Asus g73jh

Is this a good choice? or are there better options anyone could recommend?

Yes G73 is a great choice

hm thanks maziar for the option but im still leaning towards the G73 because when I up the specs on the SAGER to match the G73 the price is around $1800

But G73 has a 5870M which blows away a GT 240M.
For M15x,i would choose HD 5850M for gaming

Im really ok with any size preferably 15"+ but I want a resolution of 1920×1080 for full HD videos

@IsabellaWinTe wow that alienware seems way overpriced. Right now I think the G73 is still looking like the better choice. An $350 for 8gbs ram, thats insanity. The G73 has 8GB DDR3 ram and its so much cheaper than the m15x

That's good too but ASUS G73 has a HD 5870M which performs better than a GT 360M by a significant margin

Alienwares tend to be expensive gaming laptops. I just wanted to provide it as an alternative suggestion to consider since it hadn't been mentioned in the discussion. Have you settled on the G73? I hope you enjoy it!

Yes I think I have decided on the G73. Thanks guys for the alternatives. They helped me see that the G73 is probably the best bang for the buck right now.
