Compaq Presario F750US Review

Hello,
I installed windows xp on my Compaq Presario 750US (laptop). It booted up okay. When HP mailed me (at cost), the recovery disks with Vista Home, I installed them, now it doesn't boot...error corrupt registry and stops there. Any ideas?

Try re-installing Vista via the disks again. Be sure to format the hard drive before you do the install, i.e. you can do this in the install set up.
