Laptop sounds like it's breathing

I have a Dell Inspiron with Windows 7, and when I turned it on today it sounded like it was breathing. What is going on?

Is that breating-sound coming from the speakers or where?

Are you sure it is not more of a screeching sound?

Make sure that you haven't blocked any air vents.

There is a good chance your laptop is posessed!

I would try asking it a few questions, possibly in the standard 'tongues' language.

I believe your laptop may have gone into cardiac arrest. perform CPR on it ASAP. there may be a strike area, normally near the HDD that is marked on the underside of the laptop, this is where you'd need to focus the compressions on
