No sound from laptop speaker and audio jack

Hello,
I removed the internal hard disk of my laptop and put another one, after accessing the data i needed i put the original hard drive back. Since then my laptop has no sound from both the speakers and the audio jack. The sound drivers and every other sound configuration is okay. What could have happened?

You may have attached the internal connectors incorrectly, but download the manual and check for the location of the audio controls. On laptops the volume can be a second function of the keyboard.
