It posts, and then hangs up trying to look at my RAID setup. RAM is Corsair Value select and Sandra reads my 2x512@440mhz 2.5-3- 3CL 2CMD. I have tried upping vcore to 1.7(max on this board). Normal is 1.5 and I have had it stable at 2.2/1.525v. I am running Prime95 now at 2.3@1.50v, 42.8 degrees at load. WTF? I have seen this chip all over the net @2.3mhz+ routinely. I realize that they won't oc much more than 2.4 or 2.5 but I should be able to hit it, don't you think? (edit: Prime failed at 1hr - back to 2.2gz... I feel so violated.)

my guess is that it's your mobo's northbridge. Put a nice large NB-heatsink on it and let a fan blow over it. This should probably give you a few more Mhz..
