what is TrayApps????

Everytime I boot up or try to do anything, I get a box that comes up saying,
"The feature you are trying to use is on a CD, yadda, yadda, yadda. Insert
the TrayApps disk & click okay. Error # 1706 WHAT IS TRAYAPPS??????????

This is most annoying & wonder if one of you kind people can tell me what
the blazes this is. Only way to get rid of it is the "3 finger salute".

Would you be using, or recently installed an HP printing device??? Have
you recently run a registry cleaner before the problem started?? If so,
use your HP disk to reinstall, this will replace the <trayapp.msi> file and
restore the HP icon to the Systray. Hope that works for you. If this works
and you are running any number of registry cleaners, make sure that it does
not remove any of the HP entries (set them to ignore), to prevent this in
the future.

Well, thank you. I did go out on the "net" & found the answer. I was
desperate But since I did, the darn thing isn't popping up. You would be
amazed at how many people are having this same thing. And yes, I just did
install a registry cleaner. Will check that. Thanks so much for taking the
time to answer. My next stop was the "Windows Annoyance" site
