I am just borrowing Premiere 6.5 for a short while from a friend to decide whether it's worth paying for the upgrade yet. Still havent completed my first project on it so i dont have any major opinions yet, other than (quite worryingly) when the thing just dropped out/crashed from Windows 2000 about 2 seconds into playing a DivX 5 scene in it. A quick restart of premiere and i was going again, and it hasnt happened since, but at least 6.0.2 seemed fairly stable on my machine!

Anyone else used it? Is it worth paying the extra from 6?

just reading reviews and articles on it. if you're not doing a lot of work that's going out to mpeg2 (that seems to be the most notable new feature), then i wouldn't do it. prem6.0.2 has been rock solid for me.
