Just bought a memorex 1-gig flash usb drive. It appears under My Computer
in work computers amd 2 of them here at the house. However the one I need
the most --the removeable "f" drive will not appear in either explorer or my
computer. If I right click on my computer and go to manage--I can see it
under disk maanagement--but that's the only way I can access it. Does anyone
have any ideas.
Thankyou for any and all help.

Unhide the letter with TweakUI.

Do you have a networked drive occupying the first letter after your
hard drive partitions and CD/DVD drive? It seems that XP always tries
to map a USB drive (key drive, etc) to that position, even if there's
already a network drive using that letter. In that case you won't be
able to see the USB drive you just plugged in. Remap the network drive
to another letter and keep the first one after the fixed drives
available for USB use.
