I always check the mall arcades for pins and other interesting games,
and one day years ago I happened upon a Safe Cracker. It looked really
interesting so I thought I'd kill some time while my wife was shopping.
I was having a pretty good game when all of a sudden this piece of
metal pops out of the game and comes rolling towards me really
fast...scared the hell out of me! I'd never heard of this game before
and had no idea it was going to spit a token at me like that. I wonder
how many people got a heart attack the first time they played this
game?

Did you play the token for Assault on the Vault???

I think I kept the token...I had no idea what to do with it. I
remember a poster on the wall that said to "collect them all" or
something. Didn't even realize you could put them back in the machine.
I was reading up on the game before I posted earlier and it's a much
cooler game than I realized back then...I was probably experienced
about 10% of the features and I still thought it was one of the best
pins I'd ever played.

I had friends over last week, I was playing another machine and someone
who had never been around before was playing Safe Cracker. He interrupts
my game to tell me it's broken. Oh no! Not the Safe Cracker!
He hands me the token and says it's spitting coin out!
