Hi all,
I have a Tungsten C and often when I press the letters "O", "Y", or "N" when
I'm typing on the keyboard, the letters double. ie. if I press "O" once I
get "OO" in the text. This means that I have to proof read everything that I
type very carefully, to stop any spelling mistakes getting through, which is
very annoying and time consuming. Has anyone else had this problem? Are
there any apps out there that put a delay on the keyboard or something to
stop this from happening?
Thanks for your help,
Patrick.

Check and reset your option for keyboard default under "Prefs." I found my
settings from the factory was for the highest repeat rate possible. I reset
the default to make the key pressed go to CAPS when held. I know of no
third-party apps that change the keyboard actions.
If double-checking your settings does not solve the problem, then call Palm
for support.

I had the same problem (different letters) and had to replace my
keyboard, which did fix the problem. I bought an old, broken Tungsten
W on ebay and salvaged its keyboard. I didn't find any other sources
for the part and with my T|C out of warranty, didn't want to pay Palm
$125 or whatever they charge for repairs. Search for the subject
"parts" posted by user "mfield" on Brighthand's T|C forum for more
info.
