Quite frankly I am surprised no CPU hick here even bothered to create a thread on this yet!

LMAO, we're going back to the Pentium 2 days, a 300MHZ Prescott is apparently planned.
I suppose we will finally see a 1.5X multiplier if they stick to the 200MHZ FSB. Boy that thing will kick the PII's arse, and we will finally see the return of the Pentium II MMX powerhouse in benchmarks to compare!

Love that Inquirer added humor wit in there.

Weird for THG to put it in Hard News when it's a joke. Guess they really only find news by article subjects and not the content, and just take the first paragrapph, quote it, and link to the article itself, hehe. Had me fooled well.

Reminds me of an article making fun of AMD for making overclocker's CPUs - they say the clock processors lower so you get a good % overclock from stock. I remember the last sentance was "The Race for 1 MHZ has begun".
