Hi Nocturnal,

Thanks for posting here. Also thanks for David's replies.

To resolve this issue, you may try to download and install Windows Script
5.6 from the following Microsoft Web site:

Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP

Hope this helps!

Have a nice day!

Error Code Hex Value Description
E_ABORT 0x80004004 Operation aborted.
E_FAIL 0x80004005 Unspecified error.
E_NOINTERFACE 0x80004002 Interface not supported.
E_NOTIMPL 0x80004001 Not implemented.
E_POINTER 0x80004003 Invalid pointer.
E_UNEXPECTED 0x8000FFFF Catastrophic failure.

So the error means nothing.

Version 5.6 comes with windows XP, although there are differing versions.

Also the same person has problems installing SP2 with a blue screen.
