DllRegisterServer in vbscript.dll failed

How do I register vbscript.dll?

I've tried downloading a new copy and taking it from the CD. Still no
worky.

regsvr32 vbscript.dll

To resolve this issue, you may try to download and install Windows Script
5.6 from the following Microsoft Web site:

Windows Script 5.6 for Windows 2000 and XP

Error Code Hex Value Description
E_ABORT 0x80004004 Operation aborted.
E_FAIL 0x80004005 Unspecified error.
E_NOINTERFACE 0x80004002 Interface not supported.
E_NOTIMPL 0x80004001 Not implemented.
E_POINTER 0x80004003 Invalid pointer.
E_UNEXPECTED 0x8000FFFF Catastrophic failure.


So the error means nothing.

Version 5.6 comes with windows XP, although there are differing versions.

Also the same person has problems installing SP2 with a blue screen.
