RAID Problems

I have a windows 2000 small business server. I installed a DAC1164P raid card after the server was configured. 8 drives were used to create a RAID 5 drive. The os will not load with the drives attached to the card. If you unplug the scsi cables from the two channes on the card, the system boots fine. Any suggestions?

You say you installed it AFTER you installed the o.s, did you try reinstalling but hitting F6 during setup to install additional controllers? Does seem odd though, have you looked at your ntbtlog?

I rustled up a Drive testing program. It turns out that I had two bad drives, once I get them in I'll set it back up and see how it goes

thats cool, bad drives would indeed hinder an install
