Benchmarks for MAC compared to AMD and Pentium

I'm afraid I can't help you, but I must point out that it is usually very hard to find MAC/AMD/Intel comparisons <i>that are trustworthy</i>. For instance, Apple's site compares MACs to Intel Pentiums and Xeons, but they cripple the Pentium and Xeon by using inadequate compilers and severely limiting performance...

Therefore, I still can't come up to an answer to the much more complicated question:

i can not say for certain but <A HREF="http://www.barefeats.com/" target="_new">barefeats.com</A> may be the best place to go.

<A HREF="http://www.barefeats.com/pentium4.html" target="_new">older test here</A> but look around they have newer ones im sure.

they can be some what bias for the mac, but they still give you the best i have seen yet...

if anyone says other wise, speak up... like i said im nto too sure if do anything to the PC to make them worse or anyting to the Mac to make them better, but they Post all the MAc issues anyhow.

I too would like to see some more/better comparison sites.
