Im wasnt sure where to post this, so I hope ppl dont get annoyed with me putting it in the CPU section. Basically, I just refiled my water cooling system today, I cleaned the CPU and waterblock and reapplied thermal past, took out the motherboard and rescrewed the mounting brackets and cleaned out my tubes.

After putting it back together when I turn on the computer nothing comes on my screen and the computer will turn off after about 10seconds. What the hell is going on?

I have cleared the CMOS, and have nothing connected expect my graphics card CPU and RAM.

My northbridge, CPU, and GFX are all watercooled.
Here are my system specs:
P4 2.6c
512 Cosair PC3200 Cas2
Abit AI7
2xseagate 7200.7's
Globalwin Saf420 PSU

Please help! Anybody!

Yeh I tried that but it didnt work, I even tried a different graphics card (which is suprisingly difficult without disconnecting the old card from the watercooling kit) but to no avail.

I fiddled with the computer a bit and now it stops shutting itself down after 8seconds. Now it just make long beeps at me when I turn the computer on. Im using an Abit AI7 which comes with a Post Code display, it seems to be getting stuck on 03, the manual tells me this is 'Initial Superio early init switch'...if anyone knows what that is?

U made sure the RAM is seated properly? Also try maybe plugging a fan into the CPU_FAN header, just to make sure it's not stopping because it thinks your CPU FAN has died.

Besides that, I would have to say try running it outside the case to rule out any shorting problems...

Failing all else, you could try seeing if you can get a replacement BIOS chip, as maybe that's died for some reason.

I took the RAM out and reseated it, and it seems to work now. Cheers ChipDeath, dunno what happened to it tho because I didnt touch the RAM when I was re-filling the kit. Ah well, at least it works.

I run into that most of the time when I dismantle a rig. I have always made it a habbit to reseed the AGP and RAM.
