Hello,

I'm using Outlook 2010 (MS Office Profesional Plus 2010) under Windows 7 Enterprise.

When openig attachments (in this case, Word documents) fom e-mail messages in Outlook, the default window size for the attahments is small. Is there some way (registry hack?) to set the default window size for an attachment to an e-mail message?

I've tried opening a sample attachment, resizing the window, and closing it by holding down Crtl while clicking on the red "x" at the top right, but that does not seem to help.

Thanks.

Are you hosting the Outlook server? There is no default size for attachment unless your company employs it.

i dont see an option for it in outlook, but another way to do it would be

right click on the shortcut for the program the attachments use (microsoft word) and select properties > click the shortcut tab > about halfway down you will see a run box change it to maximized. that way when the program is run it will go to full screen.

just rinse and repeat for the other programs.
