Hello,
The fuse blows when you plug it in. Is this related to the power supply capacitors being underrated? The sub is 10 years old and I haven't had any problems with it until now.

If the fuse blows, the unit is shorted, and needs to go for repairs. There is no DIY fix for that problem.
