I have narrowed my decision to these three notebooks, however Im not swayed on exactly which one to choose... Im looking for something that will be a "do all" slamming machine... I play ALOT of very graphic heavy games, as well as do alot of "work" type stuff IE database work and such... the three notebooks Im looking at are:

Inspiron XPS Gen 2
Intel® Pentium® M 770 Processor (2.13GHz/533MHz FSB), Microsoft® Windows®
geforce 6800 ultra

CyberPower's Xplorer X7-9000 with the 3.8ghz chip and geforce 6800

Hypersonic Aviator EX7 with the 3.8ghz chip and geforce 6800

Help me make a decision so I can get an order started... price/size and weight are not an option.. I just want the best route to go for power and mobility.

I can't believe you outlined THG's recent high end notebooks reviewed and didn't already come to the obvious conclusion!

The XPS buddy, the XPS is THE leader. Check out the recent (p)review. Thing performs like a DESKTOP 6800GT system.

thats just it though... even THG said they wanted to see a production unit... sooo before I ponied up the funds, I want to make sure the dell is THE machine... you know?

I've no doubt performance will be around the results shown. It's an Ultra, clocked so much higher than the 6800, consumes a lot of heat, and comes with a very powerful CPU.

No doubt it will be close to what was shown.
