HELP! usb flash drive installed as a disc drive(insert disc error)

my usb flash drive / usb memory stick isn't working right.
i plug it in, and the computer thinks its a disc drive like a cd/dvd one. i try opening it and i get a insert disc error, the same error when i try to format it.

someone please help me to get it to work as FAT32 again.

i have windows 7 64 bit.

tried the esb stick on 2 computers and the same problem. would be great if someone could help me fix this.

I remember seeing flash drives once upon a time that could mount CD/DVD images, what is the model number of the flash drive.
