Why is it that many of the sites that I go to I don't see pictures when I'm suppose to?

No Picture, just a little box with a red X in it!

I know that I'm going to get it asking this question that has to have a simple answer here in the shark tank, but what the hey, as long as I get a answer I can handle you nerd butt holes.

i think it means the picture on the site is down or either your AV software might be blocking it as an ad.

Try right clicking and selecting "show picture" (or image) ... maybe ...

Yup, pic could be down/removed, etc.

You...umm....don't have that Tools/Net Options/Multimedia/Show Pictures box unchecked....do ya? LOL :lol:

I can see them, but could you link to naked women next time :lol: Go to Start/Programs/Acessories/System Tools/System Information then click the + beside COMPONENTS and scroll down to problem devices, click on that and see what is listed. Also while you are there, look up at the top and click on TOOLS and run the DirectX diagnostic tool.

btw I would try reinstalling IE and making sure you have java installed, and also goto tools>internet options>advanced>restore defaults and then try a few sites to see if that helps

I don't get images either. I'm pretty sure it's NIS. It's a stupid program that has been doing it to me for about a month now.

Dammit Russel you cursed me. I think I may know why you arent seeing the pics. I just somehow uninstalled my Java whatever and now my system is doing the same thing. I think Windows Update will do the trick

Yes I have Java installed, however like you I do think that Java may be the problem.

The only thing that I could see in the Java control panel is that I have cashing turned off, but that wouldn't cause this problem I don't think.
