Okay, ya know when you click Start then move the arrow to All Programs, and there is all of the software you've installed, well how do you get rid of the orangeish mauve color on all the newly installed programs without actually starting them all one after another???

but who wants to put it back together again?

Right-click the taskbar and go to Properties.

Click the Start Menu tab, make sure Start Menu is checked, and enter Customize.

Click the Advanced tab, and uncheck "Highlight newly installed programs"

See ya!
