Scanner Problem

Hi can anyone help me?
Every time I try to scan I keep getting error messages saying that my scanner is turned off even though its plugged in. I tried unplugging it and re-inserting it but it wont work.
If anyone has a solution please tell me. Thanks

That sounds a unique problem maybe there must be some issue with the scanner itself......Get it checked.
